ACSS Conferences Financial Aid Policy<\/h1>\n

Attorneys in private practice who seek to learn skills that will assist them in pro bono activities are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n

To apply<\/strong>, send your request on your employer\u2019s letterhead, stating the reason for your interest to helpdesk@sanctionsassociation.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Students must submit a copy of their student ID card. Please note: All applications must be submitted four weeks before the date of the event in order to be considered for financial aid. Financial aid will be limited to 5% of the event capacity. You will receive notification indicating whether your application has been approved.<\/p>\n

For face to face (in person conferences): Recipients of financial aid must bring their acceptance letter with them to the event in order to be admitted. Scholarships will not be awarded at the door on the date of the program.<\/p>\n

  1. Financial aid will only apply toward the registration fee for the conference. (Recipients are responsible for the other costs associated with attending the conference).<\/li>\n
  2. Employees of nonprofit organizations, legal services, and government agencies must forward a Statement of Need letter on their respective letterhead.<\/li>\n
  3. Law students must provide a Statement of Need letter and attach a legible copy of their student I.D. for the current term or a letter from their school\u2019s registrar confirming their status for the current term.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Financial Aid will not be granted retroactively and applications will not be considered after the deadline.<\/p>\n
